Mission
Our mission is to provide an outlet, for kids of the community, to practice and demonstrate leadership, teamwork and athleticism through a sport such as soccer.
OYSL has historically been an organization that coordinates and organizes youth soccer games within the community at various outdoor locations throughout orange county.
Deep Roots, Our History
In the early 1990’s, The founders Ignacio and Maria Rivera would go to schools all over Orange County to recruit both parents and kids. At first they started with practicing a few kids, but Once they had enough kids Ignacio began to have them play against each other. After starting with just 4 teams they decided to go all in and invest all of their life savings to be able to buy more equipment such as goals, corner flags and uniforms for the teams. Fast Forward 30 years and now Orange Youth Soccer League is Considered the one of the Biggest Soccer Leagues with an approximation of 150 teams. The League is Still ran by Ignacio and Maria, with the help of there 2 daughters and Sons.
